  • You may only access, use, and disclose Protected Health Information (PHI) as necessary for treatment, payment, or healthcare operations within your authorized role.
  • Any unauthorized use or disclosure of PHI is a violation of federal law and may result in civil and criminal penalties.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Access PHI and order records only for legitimate VA business purposes.

  • We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by factors beyond our control.
